I haven't seen that pic before...Who the hell is that with him? Looks like Chris Angel:Mindfreak. Anyway, that looks to be from the 2004 tour. There are some live shots of him playing the 5150 with that neck.

2004 is probably right.Has a Charvelneck(like the ones that ended upon the Arts Series).Looks cool,but he needs a replica of the Kramer neck for it imo. Like on the 2012 tour, Ed had a wolfgang neck on one of the $25,000 Frankies.It actually looked kinda cool.

First of all I couldnt imagine the folks connected to these threads that are LTAO about the arguments, if you have noodled with guitars amps strings and pickups, you will know which wood is the correct wood to do a replica "spacetape" guitar.
My first attempt at this creation was back in 1989 or so when I ordered a ******** body from warmoth and a kws neck with no pickup rout or tuner holes because the headstock had to be reshaped to get it closer to the Gibson Explorer headstoc than what it was.
Long story short I never bui

lt a guitar that was as musical as that one until dec2013 when on vac. in newyork I met a guuy that says he can do any guitar body anywood that I wanted to my specs exactly No BULLSHIT!
Ok when I got it out of the box I slapped my old strat neck on and Jb and original Floyd and wired it up and BOOM magical tone I havent played my 68 strat since and havent even looked at it, this thing sounds like eddie and you dont even have to play any of the licks!

This is the first shot I saw of the original neck still on Frankie, pre-Floyd, from Youtube. Usually it's the black headstock strat style neck..

You gotta convert the m4a file to MP3 to upload. I usually take the m4a file and load it into Garageband and then convert it.
