Has any one here tried the amprx brown box voltage regulator? Seeing that so many folks here are using nice tube amps for the most part- I didn't know if this would be something 'helpful' per say, as a useful piece in complimenting ones EVH rig set up...

Thinking about maybe checking one out- be interested in hearing any ones thoughts on this.
And keep on mind, this is different than just hooking up a Variac.
Alright.. alright.. alright...

Re: Amprx Brown Box...?
Normal wall voltage fluctuations do make a difference.
In everything. I don't like my whole rig at 120 or over. Fx, amp, all of it. Being -5 or 6 volts seems to be very noticeabley better I have noticed. But a price of unit vs just usin a variac for simple correction at the main wall voltage is a factor here to consider.
You can get a free stone in your driveway, or you can get this awesome stone from mine for $2000...... Its kinda like that really. Sometimes you gotta keep it simple
