Radial Engineering out of Canada makes some great gizmos for recording
but, recently they are now offering 2 versions of an actual LOADBOX
with all off their other technologies as far as DI direct recording and direct recording via a cabinet simulator
Attached is a 4 minute clip of everybody wants some and In a simple rhyme ( whole song )
I'm playing thru the new EVH el34 head but, what the headload prodigy allows me to do
is to crank amp to about 6 / which is brutal / I tried to go higher but was getting some oscillations thru my head phones.
and also play with the gain WAYYYYY low --- actually at about 2 ??????
makes amp sound much more organic / for lack of better term
so here is the chain
EVH wolfgang stock -- EVH EL34 amp on 6 /gain on 2 / channel 2 (wampler tape echo in loop )
-- HEADLOAD Prodigy ( silent recording mode ) full use as load ---- Tracktion DAW

Wow TJ that sounds a whole lot better/"Eddie-er" man, nice! Good to know that that head can get somewhere toward organic-sounding or whatever the right term is. Tx for posting!
Btw, bet back in the day that head would NOT have been loud enough for ya, am I right??
