Wiring board

Post by planetjimi » Wed Mar 07, 2007 4:29 pm

I'm gonna get to wiring my board up tonight, and I was wondering .... I see some that wire the board from the top and other that solder the wire on the back side in the hole in the turret. Is there an advantage to one or the other?
Thanks

some of it is looks as far how the originals looked and some of it is that one doesnt want to deal with a wire falling off the underside after swappingout a cap/resistor value.
i do them from underneath for looks and have yet to deal with a wire falling off. ;)

Thanks, I like the cleaner look of wiring from the back too, but since this is my first build I better do it on top so I can make sure everything is still connected! :)
