3 wires on one turret?

Post by planetjimi » Fri Mar 09, 2007 1:57 pm

How am I to do this? Obviously only one wire can come up through the whole. Every pic I see of this area of the board there is only one wire and no hint of anything else. So I guess I just want to confirm that the diagram is correct and that two wires have to go up through the bottom, while one wire comes up on top.
Thanks

You don't have to put them in the turret at all. You can solder them together and shrink wrap them and place them under the board for a neater appearance. If you do want to put them in the turret 2 on the bottom and one on the top or any combination will work.

It's really tight, but I managed to cram (3) 20 ga. stranded into the bottom of a large split turret. Solid wire would probably be easier.
