BB RI and KT 66's, yes you can fit them

Someone asked me a while ago about whether the KT66's fit in the reissue Bluesbreaker cabinet. Well I recently finished up my ptp kit from George and it is indeed a tight fit. I found that the KT66's (I've got the GT ones) were long enough that they just touched far side of the cabinet when the chassis was in. I just used a couple of washers on the bottom side (between the cab and the board the the chassis mounts to) to give it about 1/4" clearance. Seems to work OK. The JJ 6L6's I had in there previously had only 1/2" clearance, so I don't think it's that big a deal to have that little.

I think some of the newer Bluesbreaker cabs are made a little deeper (10 inches?) so this souldn't likely be a problem (mines about 9 inches).

It sounds great with the KT66's by the way! I've ahd both my strat and my Rick 330/12 through it. Need to get my buddy to bring his Les Paul and his P90 equipped SG Junior over to try out.

As soon as the JTM-45's are ready you could make a combo.
Mojo sells the cab, and a standard JTM-45/50 chassis fits it.
Wouldn't have the tremolo, but seems like nobody likes it anyway.

Yeah, the Mojo cabinet is deeper than the older reissue cabinets (I think it's around 10 inches deep) so you'd have no problems fitting KT66's in there.
