Which caps for a marshall build
I'd like to know from you guys which caps you prefer out of the following..... mallory 150's sozo, sozo handmade? Mustards. I guess for my first build I am going to use Sozo or Mallories then.....after I hear what they sound like for a month or so I'm going to change them out to Mustards to see If theres a big difference. See if theres enough difference where the Non-mustards are good enough for builds and save the mustards for Original vintage amps and peticular builds.Maybe use the mustard on the amps I keep and the amps I LIKE the best I will use mustards. Any advice?? Thanks in advance Mark

From everything I've gathered / read here, it really all depends on how much money you want to spend. If it's a NMV type amp,
1. Real Mustards
2. Sozo Vintage
3. SoZo Standard
I've only used the standard SoZo line and I love them. I'm sure real mustards are better, but I can't bring myself to pay for them.
I know for MV style amps, some like the Illinois Capacitors more than the SoZos.

Most people whove tried both agree the SoZo vintage is spot on mustard but for now theyre a bit more expensive then waiting for the right deal on mustards which arent cheap either. Also it takes time to wait and watch vigilantly to track down all the values youll need. A set of Marshall mustard caps on the bay is usually skyrocketed so you have to track a deal one by one for each value.
