Checked everything on the list and still no tremelo; bad hum in trem intensity pot, even with all controls down. Tried different ground points with luck. Maybe somebody will see something in the pics I'm not seeing.

Is that the stock circuit, or George's improved version? The stock one has an FET (transistor) that I don't see in those pics at least.

It has the FET, just to the left of the trem pot.
