Temporary resistor substitutions

Post by LeftyStrat » Sat May 27, 2006 4:08 pm

Hi All,

I'm almost done with my PTP board, but I've run out of 100k and 47k resistors and I can't seem to find 1 watt resistors in those values, locally. Referencing the photo, will temporarily using 1/2 watt resistors work in the marked positions?

Thanks,
Pat

No problem!
1/2W will be fine!
.......... of course, if lead length is enough.....

Thanks Sub. Lead length is the other issue, but I can deal with that.

Thanks.

1/2 will work fine, they just look odd next to the others. The Marshall HW uses 1/2 watt all over the board!

They do look kinda odd. They almost get lost among all of those 1 and 2 watters. Even though they work, I'll still replace them. I'm funny like that.

Thanks
