JTM45 vs. Bluesbreaker (tremolo) circuit board

Hi George,
I've got a Bluesbreaker RI and have been seriously thinking about getting one of your PTP replacement boards for it. My only problem (and it seems I'm in the minority here) is that I actually like and use the tremolo circuit on this amp. It apears that all of the boards are the straight JTM45 circuit and do not include the tremolo. Would it be difficult to add the tremolo circuit to a standard JTM45 board or is it possible to have a custom board made for this?
If I have to lose the tremolo I think stick with the existing board, but am real curious to try doing a PTP board project.
thanks,
Eamon

Hi Eamon, I have a BB reissue being shipped to me next week. I'll be creating a layout for these amps that includes the tremolo circuit.
I'll list the boards on my site as soon as they're ready. Or feel free to email me late next week.
George
Cool, thanks!

I've been itching to build an amp for awhile, but figure that I wanna start out by doing a board kit first.

Hi George,
Any word yet on a version of the JTM45 board with tremolo for us Bluesbreaker users?
thanks!

Not yet. There was supposed to be one shipped to me, but it hasn't arrived.
I'll see if I can borrow a friend's to get the specs.

Guys the layout is in place and I'm just waiting on the cut to size stock for these boards. Sorry for the wait. I promise it will be worth it.

Cool!

Good to hear George! Us Bluesbreaker guys are excited. Got to have that tremolo circuit! Now I just gotta decide if I can fit KT66's in that cabinet - it looks like they might not fit. Thinking about getting a Wallace output tranny at the same time...

Guys, they're almost ready. I need to do some testing and I'm concerned about the tremelo circuit potentially adding noise.
Overall, I'm pleased with the way it has turned out.

Unfortunately no. And here's why. The BB uses a larger chassis with extra mounting holes. The PTP board with tremelo components simply won't fit in the normal JTM45 size chassis.
As far as the kits, I have chassis on order and Heyboer trannies on the shelf just waiting.......

Ah, well, only turn on the tremolo once a month anyway!

Thank God you've got Heyboers for the JTM45's, I just saw the price of the MM's and about soiled my skivvies......

Guys, I'm not satisfied with the way the tremelo switching is working.
I may source a different transistor (what's that) for these boards.
Other than that and no documentation, they're ready to go.

Hey George, what are you using for the V1 cathode cap (on the far left)? I don't recognize the red color.
