Trying a new approach to launch these new amps. I took to social media and asked people what they wanted, this new design is the result. Amp design by consensus.

Looks interesting - crowd funding an amp project

I always thought the preamp jig would be a fantastic thing to build for development, but without your analyser would be quite subjective to apply it properly.

The bit that did not come up (I was on my phone in the operating theatre waiting for the anaesthetist to do their stuff) was how you actually contribute.

My son is building a Frankenstein (Marshall-Orange-Hiwatt-Orange) switchable for channels/boost stage and are about to start discovering the subtleties of balancing stage with lots of temporary pots and caps

Thanks Neil, it's off to a slow start. But I don't expect people to get on board until I post clips of a working prototype. It is an interesting experiment, whether it fails or succeeds.

If you look at the project via the kickstarter app you should see all the reward levels.

The jig and analyzer together make life much better! Wish I had those years ago. Lots of decade boxes too.

For all the favors and freebies and hosting this forum for years with lots of free advice and tech help you couldn't help fund this project to keep bread on his table?!?!?!?!?!? George has told us many times how tight things are trying to keep this biz viable.

I confess that I am guilty as charged, guess I should have read the bumph. I did not realise there was a closing date.

Shame as I did want to ad something to it but Christmas then January 1/2 year tax bill skins me.
