Definitely! I want to do some proper clips, but I'd like to at least get a quick video out just so people can hear it through the compressed, YouTube thing...

Yeah, that's a good idea. I think we're all used to hearing the crappy YouTube compression, but we can "see" through that.

nice looking amp you have there. do you have any clips of it in action yet? but i was wondering if you knew anything about the weber relays and how to wire them up for my switching. basicly i have a 5 stage stacked gain amp that still needs the switching mods.

First clips of my amp are here:

I could probably help with the weber switching boards, but I'd need to know what you were trying to do to explain it...

What; no guitar solo from "Inside Out" ? C'mon man.

The Plex channel and Rod channel sound dead-on. Nice!

Have you tried it fully cranked yet? How does it sound?

I know, it is a great solo - I should have just done the whole song... might still do it...

Thanks man - I have mostly ONLY played it LOUD as hell and it really opens up in the three modes cranked up. This amp sounds really, really good loud, I just couldn't capture it well with the little Edirol recorder. I am going to make more clips with the amp cranked up using my full scale recording setup. I'm doing two songs for a Dio tribute CD ("Stand UP and Shout" and "Last In Line") that will have full band mixes and I'm using this amp excusively for the project - I'll be cranking it up LOUD as well!

Oh, Hell yeah! :!:
The Last in Line will give you an opportunity to test all 3 modes of your amp.

Ronnie James Dio truly had golden pipes. It's going to be a tall (no pun intended) order to find a singer who can sing his parts. Good luck. Make sure you post a link to buy the CD, when it is available.

I'll post for sure. We already have the singer and wait until you hear him. The guy is incredible. I've already heard his track for "Stand Up And Shout" and it is dead on!

Hey Steve! I just went over this entire thread and I'm very impressed. Can't wait to hear it. Also, I can't get past the feeling that what you're going for is what a Mesa Boogie SHOULD be.......
