Oke - sounds like a good idea. BTW: "Solder joints between primaries and IEC lugs" doesn´t make sense. The primaries are connected to the voltage selector, not the IEC connector. No idea what I wrote there :shrug: . What I wanted to say was simply: "Do you mean I should heat shrink the solder joints for the live, neutral and earth wires connected to the IEC lugs?" If I understood you correctly, the answer to that question is: yes.

Yes, all solder joints on the primary side of the PT should have heat shrink on them. I think it's a thing that for ex. CE mark requires in a product. And by primary side I mean the IEC connector, mains fuse, voltage selector, mains switch etc.
