Oke - sounds like a good idea. BTW: "Solder joints between primaries and IEC lugs" doesn´t make sense. The primaries are connected to the voltage selector, not the IEC connector. Yes, all solder joints on the primary side of the PT should have heat shrink on them. I think it's a thing that for ex. CE mark requires in a product. And by primary side I mean the IEC connector, mains fuse, voltage selector, mains switch etc.
