I'm back with more intriguing 2204 questions.
As you may know there are several diagrams floating about the internet most are very different in the power wiring stage so it made me wonder if any one is better over another in the following...
1). PT secondary > diodes > standby > 50+50 (both sides) > HT fuse.
2). PT secondary > standby > diodes > 50+50 (both sides) > HT fuse.
3). PT secondary > diodes > HT fuse > 50+50 (both sides) > standby.
4). PT secondary > diodes > 50+50m (both sides) > HT fuse > standby.
So is any one version better than the other? Should rectification happen before standby or after? Perhaps it matters not at all?
Thanks!

Re: More 2204 Questions, this time power wiring
Wellll, after getting the power section wired up, I loaded in the 3 12ax7s, with standby on standby I light up the amp and popped the mains fuse right away.
replaced it... 2nd try, I turned it on... the 820Ω resistor off of pin 3 on v2 went up in smoke. after power down, drain caps etc, I tried to read the resistor it said 38Ω
So... not sure where to go for the moment, so it's off to bed i guess
