My wife and I just got over a NASTY stomach bug. Anything (including just a sip of water) that went into the stomach resulted in immediate cramps and doubling over soon to be followed by the “Hershey squirts”. After four days my wife went to the urgent care and they told her it could last 3-4 weeks! He gave some prescription “super kaopectate” which basically shuts down the digestive track to give it a rest. I’m still having some occasional rumblings but I’m back to eating after almost two friggin weeks. Wendy had a few google hits talking about a norovirus from Australia working it’s way through the US. Symptom description fits exactly what we both were experiencing. Good thing we have three toilets in the house! I told my wife it was probably a bio agent experiment….

I just caught something yesterday while visiting my MIL. My wife missed it, but I sure didn't. Here's hoping it's not as bad as NYC says, or that I have something different.

It sure came on quick, though. At 5pm I'm fine, at 8:30 pm I'm shivering in bad with a long sleeve T-shirt and sweat pants on.

And I still am... :palm:

Sure hope not, Jimmy. Mine started with a fever and stomach cramps. :(
