NHL Playoff's
It was cool to see 4 of the O'6 teams to make it into the playoff's and put up some historical stats.
O.K. I admit it. I took pleasure in Boston's loss. No, better yet, I enjoyed knowing Lucic & Marshand's season was OVER !
I only watched a single game of the series, but doesn't matter who we play next. Although, if L.A. pulls it off we'll have game 1 on home ice. Anaheim's putting up some good numbers, but we go 4 lines deep and Coach Q loves to mix & match players and their positions. ...and what the heck does SoCal know about frickin' snow ? They don't even know how cool skitching is !
Anyway, we also finished the Wild in 6; just coming up to our best games and what perfect Chicago timing...
That stupid good backhander that Kane'r pulled off splitting those two defense-men was definitely best of the NHL season highlites.

Re: NHL Playoff's
I'm with you on the Bruins, glad they are out. Not because they beat the Wings, just because of the douche bag play of Lucic and to almost as the same extent Marchand. Totally classless.
I decided during the Wings -Bruins series that "Lucic" is just another name for a bloody p***y fart.

Re: NHL Playoff's
Marchand plays the role the Bruins want him to. Even here in his hometown people really hate the guy but his skill of being a dick are exactly what they ask of him. I often wonder if I had been an ass if I would have made to the NHL. Oh well at least I'll be an ass in the senior league......

Re: NHL Playoff's
Let's go RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
C'mon, fellers, NOBODY saw that coming!!! (including me.... . Beware the underdogs!
So, Cindy went home crying again (shame) and "Jenie" Malkin didn't do much, and Kris Le"Poon"tang nothing,
and the other Chris Kun(i)tz....do I see a trend here......
Glad to see everybody back!
And, you're right Jimi, the Stanley Cup does NOT belong in CA. I hate the dux but it is a closer drive for me if it's Rangers - Dix in the final....

Re: NHL Playoff's
Whatta' you guy's gotta '79 rematch going ?
Anyway, no rematch here.
IIRC Hawk's don't know MSG, neither do the Ranger's know the old Madhouse when it comes to the Cup.
Come next week though, it will go all 7 games. Glorious!
I'm still seeing the two most stellar teams regardless of who's in the net. How soon they forget the Team (stats).
I agree that some (officiating) luck is involved...
Heard their having iced beers on the back 9...

Hey, Yimmy!!!
So, I just read that the NHL cut a sweet deal tv deal for $5.2mil with Rodgers Broadcastingb for the rights to Hockey Night in Canada and the Habs signed a 12 year broadcast deal with RDS. Where do the Habs play? at Bell Centre. Who owns RDS? Yep, BELL! Rangers win tonight or the series My bet is not... follow the f'n money....
Conspiracy is like paranoia..it's not if they are really out there....

Re: NHL Playoff's
That was a hell of a series! Either team could have won, right up to the final goal.
Looks like a coast to coast final. Are you wearing your Rangers jersey on game days Chiefo?

Re: NHL Playoff's
It started seconds after that knuckleball went over Crawfords shoulder, fellers! Getting lotsa crap from the locals already. Sooner or later LA's luck has to run out. I don't feel good about this one, Western div is stronger. But, the Rangers got some rest and are the underdogs. Only four points apart and they split the season 1-1 so...and anything can happen in the finals. Especially when the greedy asssed league pushes the Finals out to June. Buildings can't keep the ice cold enough, soft puck bounces all over the place...
And the Cup does not belong in California!!!
Man, it's gonna get expensive flying coast to coast to go to these games! (I wish...
LA hockey fans aren't like the homies at Dodger stadium so maybe I can wear my jersey to Staples. I'd feel better with Jimi J at my back!
(EDIT)
Oh yeah, and I have TORCHES!!!! Right, George!

Hey Chieffo, I didn't see the game (was working tonight) but the score says it all. Not good for your boys. I was hoping for a better series, maybe it can still happen. But odds are against it.
I'll check the recap before I crash...
