Impedence wiring question/s
I have the purple feedback wire connecting the 8 ohm tab on the impedence selector, but my cabinet is wired for 16 ohm and I run the amp at 16 ohms, also. Should I also connect the feedback wire to the 16 ohm tap as well? I like the sound of the 16 ohm setting. Also, would there be a difference in sound with the feedback wire connected to the 16 ohm tap as opposed to leaving it at the 8 ohm tap and running the amp at 16 ohms? One other thing, there are two different wiring pics in the installation manual that defer. Looking directly at the impedence selector from inside the amp, both pics contrast each other i.e. one with the yellow wire to the right terminal and the black to the left terminal with the other pic showing the oposite. I have mine wired with the yellow wire to the right and the black to the left, which is correct or does it matter?
May the good Lord take a liking to you!

With the amp upside down the wiring should be: Black - Yellow - Green going left to right on the bottom. Black is 4, yellow is 8 and green is 16. If you hook the purple feedback to the 4, you will get heavier gain. With it hooked to the 16, you will get alot less gain. Less resistance will give you more feedback gain, IE the 4 ohm tap. 8 ohms, in the middle, is usually standard.
It doesn't matter what tap you are using, or what cab you are using.
