The amp is DONE!!!!! WHOO HOO!!!
Hi All,
I'm making a Metro JTM 45 for my brother and thought I'd upgrade the board to NOS Paxolin with split turrets.
Perfed and staked myself...for the first time.
Really like the color of these old boards. Got the materials from England and the mustards from Sparky and Blaren here on the forum (thanks guys!)
Will post when I have all the components installed on the board.
Cheers!

I used Georges regular JTM board and drilled pilot holes into the some new templating material. Then I used one side of his board t(using all 8 holes on a row) to create a few rows of holes.
Now you have a few nicely lined up rows in some template material. Drill these holes to correct size for the split turrets (2.6mm but I used 2.8mm as I could not find any 2.6mm drill bits).
Finally, use the template material with correct sized holes (I used paxolin for the template and the final board) to start drilling the right sized holes in the board row by row. I used a couple of turrets to help keep the template and the board from moving when I drilled. You poke 'em in the last row of holes and there's enough length to secure the template and the board when you drill - they are not too tight that you can't get them in and then out.
Staking is another story!!!
A drill press I bought for $60 bucks came in VERY handy.

Off and on you can find it on ebay. I don't know where else honestly.
Garolite is also what Marshall used back in the day as well.

Thanks Gents!
I should have it ready for the amp by end of the week...with so many other committments on the go...we never get enough time to do the things we like to do most!
I love this stuff!
I'm still looking for NOS Lemco caps (500 and 250 pf)!!!

Cole,
Looks perfect! I guess you don't need the CNC machine after all! Here's a link to my build where I put George's boards on the CNC machine at work.
This is obviously going overboard but I 3D modeled the power supply card and I am halfway through modeling the preamp card. I want to make certain that the parts are laid out as well as possible.

Nearly completed...
Just need one bright channel mixer 500pf cap and a 100K V1B plate resistor...I just may leave the cap uninstalled as many people like the amp without it.
I really enjoyed doing this board from scratch. I may do a few more boards in this material using the split turrets. It really looks fabulous in person. Perhaps I can even make a few bucks...who knows?
As Borat would say..."Is nice?"
