If I remember correctly it was around $30 with shipping via paypal. I have about 10+ left over of various values. I just wish they made the 2 watt (smaller ones) in a 1meg value :( But they have all the others for the board available. I still can't believe how quiet the amp is.......

Where did you order the resistors from?

And how are you liking those IC caps?

I used ICs in my last build and like them, as well.

Thanks. I'm gonna order me up some. I had been debating going with carbon film vs. metal film. So, I'm just gonna go with these.

Here is another source for the Kiwame resistors. They are in Ontario, Canada. I have had excellent service from them on a couple of orders.

I've heard the PRP metal film are good. They are supposed to be audio resistors or something.

Allen,

I own the amp now that your posted the pictures with the Kiwame resistors above, you had put it into a purple marshall case and has your name and the date of 7/4/2007 written in the chassis.

Could you please tell me what Power Tansformer, Output Transformer and Choke that you used when you built it ???

They look like Heyboer but i am not sure. If they are can you give me the Part Numbers for them.

BTW it is one awesome sounding amp!

Any help would be very much appreciated.

thanks,
Terry

Terry,

The tranny set is the Heyboer clones George sold in his store with the plexi kits back in the day. Not sure on the part numbers but it should be listed somewhere here on the site. Glad you like it, I miss that amp for sure!

Just came across this thread and it's awesome haha. I had discovered these Kiwame 2W CF resistors while doing research for my next build and I grabbed a few. To my surprise, when they arrived I thought they sent me the wrong ones because they are so small haha! The 2W are SMALLER than than the 1W Takman and 1 watt PRP I have. And they are rated for 750V. Wow. I also have some Takman CF and MF, as well as PRP and a bunch of others. Got them all from PartsConnexion. Great shop. Shipping was only like 1 day or something. I hope they stick around, because they are a great source for parts.

I also grabbed some of those IC MPW caps to try as well.
