I clean-boosted it with a Boss Super Overdrive. Presence was up around 8. I need to get it high to get enough gain for Hard Rock/Metal, but 10 was just too "fizzy". I liked this clip because it has the gain/harmonics without sounding fizzy/messy. And the 50's compress nicely. My 100's never compressed like this.

good job. man, i need to build another 50. i bought a 50 watt smallbox back in like '75, i thought because it was small it was like a marshall jr or something! i never knew if it was a bass amp either, didn't say lead anywhere! it was my baby for like 20 years. i miss it now
