Steppin' Out on recent Bluesbreaker build

It's a straight up '66 style JTM45 with no tremolo, M e r r e n Audio 784-103 clone, mustards, RS silver micas, Pihers. Speakers are a pair of Scumnico 30W (older version, no paper voice coil). Tubes are Philips Herleen V1, forgot which is in V2, Tungsram in V3 and GEC KT66s. Guitar is '02 R8, it has received a package A makeover from Historic Makeovers, has Pigtail hardware, Dr. Vintage pots/caps and Throbak SLE101+ pickups.
Clip was recorded direct to an iPhone via the built-in mic, so don't expect great sound. Playing is ragged with no backing track, but I think it came out pretty nicely anyway. Had to do a couple of takes to nail that first feedback bloom, but when I finally got it, it was right THERE! Actually threw me off for a couple of bars afterwards...

The M e r r e n transformers are my #1 choice. BTW, what do you mean "but" my amp is a JTM45? Of course it is, that's what the original was recorded on.

Re: Steppin' Out on recent Bluesbreaker build
Thanks! Amp is now sold, which I halfway regret since I just scored a pair of 64-65 T652 alnicos. They would have been perfect for this amp. Not that the Scumnicos sound bad...

Nice tones, excellent with an i-phone. I have been noodling with some clips and when I get the sound in the room right will have to do some too.
I do like the bloom and vibrato you get - how loud was it?

Fairly loud. IIRC around 9 on the dial.
