Got tired of adjusting settings.
Pretty inefficient doing it by playing /adjusting.
Ordered a TC electronic DITTO record looper.
Then I can record a riff and just repeat it over and over while adjusting the EQ or hotmodding components

This G12-65 sound just like mine.
Mid heavy “thump thump thump 200hz” and fizzy at the same time.
Is the SRV bypassed or do you use the low reverb plate setting with ~30-40 in output level to correct sizzle/fizz?
Pull some gain on the amp and keep the pot with bright cap low to get treble boost and I bet it’s much better.
100-250Hz eq pull ~5db might help also.
I think the other old clip is better also.

This is more distinct and not as fizzy.

thanks for the advice.
EDIT again:

those 2 clips youve compared did have thesame EQ on the amp. it had reverb from SRV2000.
this SRV2000 seems to add a bit of brightness i kinda like btw

what speakers did you say you had?

I got all celestions.
Rigged in my rehearsal space.
I like g12m-70 best 6550
G12-100 and 80s are good to with el34
G12-75 and g12-65 are good with extreme settings.
The g12m 25w and g12h 30 works good if you can control fizz.
The SRV built in EQ cure most issues

yes the SRV does have a powerful EQ but it only affects the wet signal. any direct signal mix or dry or bypassed it wont affect them.
this SRv2000 just adds brighness no matter what. still sounds thesame almost.

Re: S.I.R. 100W SuperLead Schematic pt. II
Hey everyone. It took a while but I finally completed my 3 channel mod. It took a lot of experimenting and frustration. I ended up tossing the relay kit that I was using and went with another company. Now my amp Is a 3 channel amazing monster!!! Here is a quick video from a webcam. Just hit record and played. The sound quality is not great and some weird modulation sound and volume drops/rises occurs occasionally. Its the recording device used, not the amp. The only effect is a little reverb from my earthquaker devices dispatch master(my favorite pedal). My living room is a bit of a mess as well. Dont tell mom please.
I must say I am very happy with the results. Ill get more into the build/mod at another time
From 0 to 1:45 is "1959 mode. 1:45 to 2:45 is 2203 mode. The rest is #36 mode. I eq it at the end for some scooped metal!!! lol.

Re: S.I.R. 100W SuperLead Schematic pt. II
so, it's been a while (3-4) years. some of you realy 'nail' it. yep, a well hidden asymetrical plus simetrical clipping stages. compression in the first place. don't forget to reveal photos of 'ratt' #42 and look an output stage. there are some well hidden SS components
(MOS & DI). special order tubes are essential...#36 didn't have a 4 input tubes, just + one clipping stage and more SS devices. all that telling you, there is no universal schematics (year of production, voltages, etc, etc) so no bother people who figured out the logic. they are experiment with values, also..so long with hope that this thread had to be closed for good. i'm seek when look how you make a fool of most members. everything is written here.

Explain further. Your broken English is is somewhat confusing. I will agree that it does not take 4 preamp tubes to get this sound.
*Do you mean to say that most people in this thread have been fooled?
*#36 had experimental SS circuitry? No one involved in this thread is using aftermarket, SS components to get the AFD sound.
*Someone was hoping this thread would be closed? Why?
If you are saying these things, you need to back them up with unquestionable and provable information or you will have been the one most in doubt person, that has ever joined this thread.
If that is not what you are saying, please be more precise in your postings.

Im pretty sure that we all know that the guitar tracks on AFD were recorded with a peavey rage and a boss metal zone.
