Any srv2000 owners have any suggested settings settings? Mine just showed up, hope to be able to mess with it soon. Ill try to get a good clip up sometime as well. I havent made a decent one since I finished my 3 channel mod. Now seems like an appropriate time

You need to do the memory reset. And adjust the level on the back to the dot marker.
And fizz control and settings are posted 50 pages back

I did a factory reset. set the knob on the back. It seems to be a wet/dry adjust. The input knob on front acts as a volume adjust/corrector between the bypassed original signal and the "effected signal" . I have the unit connected in my fx loop and Its working great that way for now at least.

Now I just need to play around and get familiar

Adjust input so its 1-2 "orange" and adjust output in the display far left to cut fizz.

It sounds fine. If you are interested, you might want to A/B a 100k resistor between the master and PI input cap and possibly a 1K in place of 820R at the 4th. Those should offer a slight bit of control to extreme frequencies. Also could bleed highs with a cap across the 100k CF load resistor - 500p to 2200p

Over all it sounds great.
For constructive criticism, Scom is off to me. It is too saturated and compressed. I imagine it more airy and open and chimey, less saturated and thinned out a bit.

@CoffeeTones: I've thought of putting a 100k or similar after the master volume but never quite got around to trying it. In regards to 4th stage, I've done extensive testing and found that I prefer an 820R carbon composition resistor over an 820R or 1K carbon film.

@herbvis: You're right, it is a little bit compressed and saturated still. I think I'll try moving the 100k I've got after the 2nd gain pot to after the master volume pot. Or maybe I'll just lower the 100k. I might need to readjust the mic position too.

nice score hebvis. i bought mine for 120 usd.. some sellers go over 200 usd.

do you have pix of your srv2000? mine didnt even come with a scratch on the rack mounting holes.

Nah, no pics yet. It is in excellent condition though. Ill probably build a footswitch for it when I get some free time. Sounds great as well!
