Got the sounclick thing figured out. Here is RWTD with 50 watter flat out. Even have the NFB resistor lifted completely. Panned all the way to the right side, opposite Ed. Variac at 90 with another variac between the head and cab. Greenback M types w/55hZ cones.

Sounds damn good, man! To my ears, mine sounds more like a produced album and your sounds more live - if that makes sense.

LOL, I guess in a way, yes. It was just one take on all the rhythm stuff. I'll overdub the solo in like the album at some point. I do have that same backing track that you used. Maybe I'll do it to that but with early VH stuff, it's kind of cool to play with it and pan all the way right since Ed is all left. Makes it easy to pan left and right for real time comparison. I'm going to do the re-amp thing again soon but with the Marshall Master PA circuit. Gotta go down that rabbit hole.

Hey brother! How ya doin', man?
This amp sounds amazing loud - I always play it through my PS-2, but it's still plenty loud. I've got some of those chicklet .68uF caps. I could try 'em, but I'm diggin' this tone so much, I always just skip changing them out...
Hope all is well...

What are you switching to for the verse parts. It doesn’t sound like this is a volume control, sounds like its switched.

I played the verse parts on a different track. The verse parts are the same amp with the volume already rolled off. I'm not switching to anything. It's just basic multi-tracking to get things as consistent as possible in the recording vs. a live played clip...
