Re: TSL better then my plexi?
how do you record so that each the right and left channel has its own "side" of sound?
also, when you mentioned earlier that you were mixing the clips with a JCM, could you atleast do a 1987 ALONE without the JCM mix?

Here're other two clips with the same amplifier and settings : the firts one is recordered with SM57 mic right in front a V30 speaker. The second one, with G12H.

To me, this matter is not important, if that's a good guitar sound (or not) for you.

yeah.. to me it sounds good. even the TSL soundedgood aswell. the way id describe the TSL compared to the 87 you did previously is that the TSL is some what "bland". like if it was a cheap chocolate drink powder, it wouldve tasted too much sugar because the put too little chocolate powder or the powder are of cheap quality meaning theyd try to hide it with sugar.
well i hope yuo got my point here8)

I think it's a good thing tasting a chocholate drink without to know the brand. If it tastes good to you and after two hours you're still alive and well, simply... it was good

Re: TSL better then my plexi?
Just bought a '68 original Marshall SLP and I'm VERY happy for that !
Here's a little sample with Master Volume at 12 o'clock (more it's impossible).
Guitar is a mahagony body Strat with Duncan "PearlyGates" PU's.
