Marshall 69/67 SLP Clips ~Live & Studio~
Thanks George and Mark!!!!
As posted on the Marshall Marshall Marshall topic's page yesterday...
I just wanted to give a heads up on some new Marshall clips at www.gorocknow.com (found on the music page). Some clips have been posted on the soundclick.com site before. I have added some new material using Metroamps on our new site, plus some old clips from soundclick.com. The soundclick.com site was limiting so after alot of work I have designed a new site.
Amps are: Metroamp 69SL 100w, a real mid-69 SL 100w and a Metro 67 SLP as used on the various clips. Cabs are two original 69 4x12 basketweave pre-rola 25's and a Metro amp 4x12 with pre-rola 30's. No attenuation.
Mic's Royer 121. A (circa 1970) Neumann U87, Shure 545. Pre's Neve 1272, Api 512, SCA C84 to Ampex 440C 1" 8trk, transfer done on Lynx Aurora 8 into Cubase SX.
Thanks to George for his great amps! (on "Five Dolls Studio" Metro-amp 69 was used) (A Real 69 SL100w on "Saffron Six") let me know what you guy's think...
Cheers,
Eric

yer stuff kicks major ass! love it! tone, songs, playing, groove - love it.
Thanks again Mark!! I really appreciate it!
LOL! No the 75 tour!! Just kidding We used the same type of tape machine Showco (1972-80) and Eddie Krammer (73 SRTS) used for recording LZ which imparts a certain charactor IMO. Glad you enjoyed them.Great (Page) Scott!!!!
Is that an outake from SRTS???

Those tracks sound freaking incredible. Everyone's playing is dope.
Wow... Killer.
Thanks a bunch! The bassist and drummer deserve ALOT of the credit.
