can you install a PPIV master in a bassman?

I know a guy who wants something similar to a PPIV master for his bassman. Is this possible and how exactly would it be wired up? He wants something simple like the Rich mod if at all possible.

Shouldn't be a problem, from the phase inverter on back through the power amp isn't much different. The only thing that might pose a problem in my mind is that you may want to convert it to the AA864 bias section. From AB165 on (early '65 on up) Bassman amps had a funky bias balancing setup that makes most people cringe on sight. It doesn't have the usual pair of 220K's splitting like earlier Bassman amps or Marshalls have. Convert to the more accepted bias circuit and hook 'er up like usual.
