Got my new speakers today

Post by flemingmras » Tue Jun 08, 2004 1:43 pm

4 G12H-30s for my new slant replica cab that I ordered.

Now George, where's that post regarding the correct way to break in new speakers?

OK cool. However, instead of a variac, I figure I'll load them in the cab and run a 60Hz 100mV signal into the amp input and hook mycabinet and my DVM up to the speaker jacks, then turn the volume up until the voltage across the cab euqals that of the value I got from the calculator on that page(around 12.6 volts on 16 ohm G12H-30s).

Bake on HIGH for 45 minutes while basting continually. Rotate at least once.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

4x12 serves up to 100 people, depending on serving size.

:D

hey guys check the mojo look on these speakers.

They are exactly like mine except they are in a totally different cab and those speakers sound great.

Do any of you guys know what they are all I know is I think they are Rola Celestions but i ain't sure.
