I have a silver faced Deluxe Reverb (single 12, two channel, '65 reissue speaker, etc.). The reverb tank isn't working. It has been retubed a few years ago. It has also been "gone thru" at the same time. The tank worked after that but all of a sudden one day (and it doesn't get played all that much anymore since I got my Carvin X100B head and Marshall 4X12). Any idea on why the reverb would no longer work. What I need to do is just take it to George and get it fixed but if there is something simple, I will do it myself.

Check the cables running to the reverb can. Also look at the wires on the transformers in the can, make sure they didn't become unsoldered, along with the springs.
It also could be the reverb output transformer as well.
One more thing...this has happened to me before. Try replacing the reverb stage input cap. That has gone on me before too. It's a 500pF.
