Budda superdrive 30 help, schematic, preamp info?
I just picked up a Budda superdrive 30 II amp. I would like to get the schematic for the amp, anyone have a copy? If no schematic, can someone explain the volume mod, that's posted on the web. I like to know how the volume mod works? Thanks for any info

Re: Budda superdrive 30 help
if no schematic? does anyone know what's going on in the preamp? Is it like a Marshall MV, with cascading gain? Thanks for any info.

Re: Budda superdrive 30 help, schematic, preamp info?
I have seen a schematic of the Superdrive 80 Series II in the SLOClone Forum. Basically it is a modded Marshall style preamp (rhythm mode 2 gain stages, lead mode 3 gain stages), a cathode follower driven, roughly JTM-45 style tone stack, a master volume that couples to a passive series effects loop, a paraphase phase inverter and cathode biased power tubes.
IMHO the paraphase PI is what makes these amps appear so loud - at the expense of clean headroom.
Cheers Stephan
