is a traynor yba-3 amp a good candidate to mode into a plexi?

Traynor is a pretty good candidate with solid construction, but before you buy an amp to modify, make sure you are getting some good transformers.
I would go for the later preamp with one more gain stage and a master volume, than a plexi. The plexi is fine if you are playing it wide open, but landlords and neighbors may not agree.
I personally think Traynor would be alright.
