About to begin a 5E3 build. I have enough NOS Mustard caps to do the whole amp. Originally I was set on going with Red Jupiters, but the price tag got me thinking about the Yellow Jupiters. Then I raised my parts bin and found enough NOS mustards to do the entire build.
Part of me says use the NOS mustards and the other part of me feels I am not doing the right thing by putting the closest component to the original.
Anyone want to steer me in the right direction? On one hand I have great capacitors that won't cosr me anything. On the other hand I can spend $50 on a product that is supposed to be good but I have no experience with.

Re: NOS Mustards vs Jupiter Yellow in 5E3 Build
I will confess I have no experience with the 5E3 but there are only half a dozen caps in the amp and I have found with the really simple amps that if you are going for true tones the components such as caps, resistors and really important transformers have a vital part in capturing the correct flavours.
Big complex channel switchers etc I am not so sure.
