If they're the stock Gibson pots, they're 500K ohms.

Gibson started using some 350k pots recently. I'm not sure when, but my '92 standard had them. Those pots will roll off some highs. If you need more clarity, try replacing them with 500k's. A lot of us around here get CTS pots from blackrose customs.

Sometimes the value will be stamped on the case of the pot. If not you can take a eading with a meter.

My 2002 LP5 Standard had 300K pots installed in the volume position. I'm pretty sure Gibson puts these in all of their Standards. However, i think of all their Custom Shop/Historic models come lock and loaded with 100% 500K action. I replaced mine recently when i did my coil-tap mod.

I also highly recommend Black Rose Customs. I got my CTS pots there. They match them so they are close in range. Even though a pot is stamped 500k most likely it is off quite a bit.
