I dig the True Bypass. You get great tone and the pedal allows you to get great natural tone from your amp when you don't use the pedal. I'm keepin'.

It's been a long time since I've had any pedals that weren't true bypass. But what I'm missing is that nasally midrange honk (with a high end rolloff) that you hear when you listen to old ZZ Top, Thin Lizzy, or Jeff Beck's "Truth." THAT'S what I never quite seem to nail that I wanna hear, and the fidelity of true bypass almost seems to work against that sound. The fidelity of modern mics/mixers/FX/Digital recording doesn't help much either.

I do agree that todays recording industry does seem to make all the instruments sterile and lifeless. This is probably thanks to the digital age like you said Flames. It's pretty obvious that we are analog men in a digital age... and i'm down with that.
