The perfboard seems a little cheesy to me.

This has got to be joke. How can you expect to sell an amp with a High School style breadboard???!!!! I don't know if it's his playing, the guitar, or the amp, but that tone sounds like shite.

Thats not the same Allen that does the class act is it? That tone does suck. Thats the way I hear nanoheads and other tiny heads.

Billy,
that is not Allen Amplification. I built an Allen Class Act and an Old Flame. Believe me those two amps are monsters. David Allen's stuff is top notch. The Class Act into my Marshall 2x 12 cab rips, it's really got that Plexi vibe. You can use just about any output tube except EL 84's. It's damn loud for 6 watts, too loud to jam in the basement late at night without my wife yelling from the 2nd story of our house.
The Old Flame is just about the best Super Reverb you ever heard and you can use 6L6's or 6V6's. The reverb is definitley the best I've heard in any amp.
David provides excellent service just like George does.
In fact very few business's give as good service as do George Metropoulos, David Allen, and Doug Hoffmann.

You could use EL84s with Yellow Jackets. I didnt think this was Allen. I know a decent amount about Allen amps and have visted the site but I wasnt sure. Ive heard too many good things about Allen to think this was the same one.
