I just ordered a new 2x12 baffle for my super reverb and i want to experiment with some 12's...I understand the super reverb has a 2ohm load internally...so what if or can you switch the opt to accomadate a couple of 12's that are 8ohm or 16omh's....gimme some input :?

Ummm....who's "me"?
You could just get four ohm 12's. Wired in parallel, two ohms.....wired in series, eight ohms......

Hi Flames it's Superboss..I've tried to get a new password to sign on but nothing happens??...go figure...anyway after a little reading last night there appears I do have some options...the opt that's in it now is not oringinal so I'am considering one with the proper taps to accommadate what I would like to do..their not cheap but hey what the hell..I love custom tweeking my amps not gutting or degrading them mind you but getting them to sound good for just about anything....some would say sell the amp and buy something eles that's already set up to what I'am after...Oh well I love the old woodieness...(is that a word) I guess? and responsive feel that comes from this amp...ya now it when play though it that magic...hey srv had a tweeker too!...enough now I'll get of my shoeshine box....let me know what ya think about the tranny deal.... :D
