What ?????? What amp?
Maybe by some remote chance someone else here has a Bedrock or a schem of one but it would be best if you could post the schem or at least describe the part your talking about replacing. Where do the wires attached to it go and what other components are attached to it? Where is it at on the board. All amps have their own character so if you say its a Marshall type amp and the part is this or that I still couldnt tell you which is best but I will tell you that the lower the value the more bass is blocked. So if you have an option of going to .022 and .0022 start with .022 and see where your at then and if you want to go further then you have .0022. If its only 1 cap and its something higher then .022 Id imagine its a coupling cap (attached to pin 1 or 6 on a preamp tube socket and along with a resistor) and it may be .047 now in which case going to .022 will make a decent difference but to be more careful and 'walk' the value down and see where you think it sounds best you can also go to .01 and .0047 before you get to .0022 which is a very low value for something thats already higher then .022 stock and is likely to really thin the sound down (which may be good) but I cant say for sure until I see a schem of some kind.
