Has anyone ever tried one of the Randall MTS heads?

I have. I guess they are decent for what they are. That amp reminds me of the Dean Markley amp from the 80's that had the same type of module setup.

The only thing that would worry me about the MTS is that if you were one of those that constantly was changing modules I think eventually the connections would start failing. Then if the head didn't take off for the company you might be in a bind trying to find replacement parts if you needed them.

i had the RM4 and it was a great sounding preamp. easy to use and built well. the modules are well constructed, too. nothing like the markley.
