What are you thinking about Vox AC-50?

I have the opportunity to buy a Vox AC-50 + 1x15" Vox cab made in 1959!!!!!!!
Price: ~ $730
The seller said me: All part is original (except a piece of resistor and a speaker jack)
It sound good.... but who know?
Please post me your opinion!

I didn't think the Vox AC-50 was around in 1959. Still it may not be a bad price if it's mostly original and in good working order.

Yes!!! I think AC-50 starting around 1963

I think i'm lucky and i'm
I will peplace few parts (nothing serious) /old diodes-->FRED or UF, knobs, maybe few resistors, capacitors.......TUBES (tubes is cheap crappy burn....shit

) except two ecc83 sorry 12ax7 is Telefunken
I will be similar happy when George post me Metro parts!

I don't know about using the 1x18 cab but that AC50 should be damn sweet. Those Telefunkens should be sweet tubes also -- I use them whenever possible in my stuff.

I've 2x12 (open back)with greenbacks another 2x12 (closed back) with G12H30

Maybe i will be use Vox with greenback, marshall with G12H30

or vice versa.......
