Just curious, how are the new vox amps? I think I might get an ac30...

From what I've researched, the Vox AC30's have many configurations old and new. Go over to the Plexi Palace forum, they have a section devoted to the Vox amps. Those guys know their stuff old and new. If I were going to buy a recent Vox AC30, it would be the previous genereation AC30CC2.

I was lucky enough to play through a early 60's AC30 a couple of weeks back jamming with a band on stage. It sounded bloody great! And so loud. I was also using a Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal.

I ended up getting one (AC30CC2) 2nd hand early this year. Sounds absolutely great! Highly recommended.
