I have recently built an AX84 Hi Octane head (http://ax84.com/static/hioctane/AX84_Hi ... 101004.pdf) and had it working completely fine. Unfortunately I had placed the filter caps in an awkward spot and the chassis was not sitting flush, so I removed the filter caps and placed layed them flat to allow the chassis to sit flush. When I did this and turned the amp on, I heard no sound and I fried my 100ohm resistor (R2).
I checked all connections in the power section and everything appears correct. What could have gone wrong?
I replaced my filter caps and now the amp doesn't work! Help

Does your pilot light still go on? if not you may have shorted your HV windings. Ive done it before.
