Original Tweed Cabinet question

I was sending dimensions to a gent this evening, that was looking to build an accurate reproduction of a tweed Champ cab. To my surprise, through the tattered corners of mine, I found that the top fascia board(where the logo goes), was only 1/4 inch thick......Most new builds, and plans on the net, have those top and bottom boards at 3/4.
Can anyone out there verify the width of those pieces on an original 5e3?
I'm also looking for confirmation on the width of the finger joints, for any tweed you may have. Mine come in at 1/4, despite the recurring new plans that show 1/2.
Thanks in advance.....
