Vox AC4TV speaker question

I just pulled the trigger on an AC4TV at GC's Black Friday online sale. I listened to countless clips and read numerous reviews, and from what I've heard and read, it sounds way better with a tube and speaker upgrade. To that end I've ordered a JJ EL84 and a NOS GE 12AX7.

As for the speakers, in true Vox tradition I want to go Alnico. I've seen some really good deals on random used 10" Alnico guitar speakers from Jensen, Eminence, Altec, and other makers. Would any low wattage alnico speaker of the right size and resistance sound good, or should I stick to something traditional, like a Weber Blue Pup?
