Im urgently looking for a schematic for a modern VOX AC30 top boost amp (made in china) dated about 2003.
I suspect a capacitor has started to leak, causing a short as one 1.5k grid resistor has burnt up in smoke on each pair of EL84 output tubes.
All the output tubes have been destoryed as a result of this.
Anyway, i cant find the correct schematic for the VOX AC30 on the VOX website.
My model has 4x EL84 output tubes and 3x ECC83 for the preamp and phase inverter stage.
All the schamatics i see dont even relate to the board on my amp and the component values dont match any on the PCB.
In addition to that, the amp has far more components such as alot more resistors, capacitors that are on the schematic and a IC and a few transistors which i expect are for the tremolo.
The schematic that was the closest thing i found was that for the AC30 top boost from 1993 onward.
Its clear that they have made some significant changes since 1993.
Any help would be great, i cant find any model number on the back sorry, but i may post some pics later.
