Pedalboard?

Post by JasonC » Mon Apr 25, 2005 12:33 am

I'm in need of a pedalboard. I don't want to spend more then a couple hundred and I don't want to wait 4 weeks for someone to build it. I figured I'd poll you guys for suggestions before I dusted off the table saw...

There are plenty of pedalboards under $200. MF had those Core pedalboards for pretty cheap. Others are NYC pedalboards etc. Pedal Train is another.

So I stopped in to Gtr Ctr last night to see what they had. I didn't see anything worthy in their small selection of boards, so I gave up and decided to do the obligator store tour before I left.

Back in the PA section I spotted a Road Ready mixer case that looked damned near perfect for a pedalboard. It's about 28 x 19 with with maybe 6-7 inches of interior height and a low profile base. GC only had the list price of $299 on it, so I figured I'd take it up to the counter and see what it ran up for.

$79 bucks! Silly GC. This thing probably has $80 in hardware alone. Needless to say it came home with me.
