Testing Cables
Is there a best way to test cables? I have some that I have made using Mogami 2524. I get good strong continuity but a couple of them sound darker or loose their high end. Can I use a DMM that measures capacitance? If so, is there a DMM that works the best?

Re: Testing Cables
You can test for resistance with your DVM and thats pretty useful on cables.......To test capacitance You will need a capacitor tester which is available at Antique electronics among others...It comes with simple instructions too.......

Some meters test capacitance. I have a Fluke 87V that does this.
