The Matchless Hot Box..its a tube pre-amp for guitar. Its basically a jcm 800 pre-amp in a box(except its not so bright). Gees! You guys dont get out much, do you?
You need some Hot Box

I believe Mesa does the same thing and it's called the "V-Twin". Who would want that though? Fizzy tone in a shiny diamond plated box!! WOWIE!

actually, i dont believe that the V-Twin operates on high voltage like the matchless does. And i have never heard a fizzy matchless product, even a v-twin couldn't be more fizzy than a solid state distortion box right? i dont use any pedals of any kind. Its not a starved plate design like most tube pedals.
