Cool!!!Flames1950 wrote:Never seen a Drivemaster to try. But my old black Bluesbreaker is utterly killer in front of an already-raging Marshall. The pedal's EQ curve is just a perfect match for the amp, you stomp on it and it sounds like you just engaged a boost built in to the amp!!
Here's a quote from the manager at the store when I confirmed payment sent:
Can't waitOne of the employees here has a JCM 800 4 holer and loves it, works fantastic with pedals and is extremely punchy. You should have a fun time with this pedal....

Hey guys,
I got the Drivemaster today....
While definitely still in the honeymoon phase, here goes......
Need to replace the stomp switch with a Carling (stock one's kinda weak)...
Tonally this stomp works best in front of an already healthily breaking-up amp......
With the channel vol. on 5 it doesn't sound all that great......
But turn up the channel vol. to 7 or 8 and the gates of distortion heaven/hell are unleashed!!!
I can dial in anything from a nice bluesy overdrive, to a very passable Randy Rhoads sound, to practically any 80s sound you can think of (does Metallica's "Seek and Destroy" most excellently)!!!!!!
Squeal notes for days.......with the drive knob still on 5.
If you ever run into one of these, give it a try
