And the clean boost is the best clean boost Ive played. Way better the the fat boost or the SHO or SDHO IMO. Im a person thats not that into effects. I have a bunch around that I barely use. Occassionaly I use my Teese or Clyde wah. I have my friends FDII limited edition. And my TMB. The only one I love and use often is my Captain Coconut which is by far the best effect Ive ever played. Amazing fuzz and Vibe.

I have been thinking about one of those, too.

Well I dont want to be one of those people 'use what I use!!!' but the TMB and CCII are what I consider two of the the best values available for guitar. each feature multiple vintage effects. If you were to buy 3 booteek boosts or a vibe, octave and fuzz independatly you would spend more money on each. But not just dollar value I also think they are of the best of each kind of effect available and very well built with great builders. If I had to sell all but those effects Id be fine.

My TMB is my favorite pedal. Like my TS-808 re-issue, the way the TMB affected and improved my tone was worth every penny I paid for it. The TMB would be the last pedal I'd sell.
I knew we should've taken that left turn at Albuquerque!

It was very new when I bought it and I remember it was a total 'lets see what this is about' impulse buy and right after I payed I found a thread about a new rangemaster clone that used all NOS parts (I forget who it was by- something analogman sold) but I was ready to cancel the order but I said what the hell. I never looked back. It doesnt use NOS transistors or any other normal hyped parts. Its just a great pedal design.

There similar in some ways I guess but I played my SLO in a band for a short while with lead singer who had an H&K. I dont remember which model it was but it had 3 channels, the third of which was kind of a high gain SLO type thing. They both had the tight smooth high gain thing going but as a whole they didnt sound very similar.
Yep, the smooth high gain thing's ok (crank mids for some Ozzy, speed metal, etc.), but the crunch channel is where mine lives most of the time.
On it's own the crunch channel can do the Queen/Lenny Kravitz/ACDC type thing (ACDC's probably the worst: same ballpark but not real close), then with something like my little TS-5 it gets some quasi hot-rodded Marshall-esque sounds.

You're rep is safe for now, Dan.
WuuuHuuu, played my new JPP through the TMB into a VoxAC30CC2 plugged into a 2-12 pre rola bottom.
HOLY SHIT!!!
My bass player even stopped playing and said "What the hell do you have there?" Pretty killer combination!
