That breaker switch is controlling the speed. Gotta be a way to rig it so it can manipulated with a volume/wah type pedal or even a potentiometer or something.

On another note, my dream was fulfilled! It came yesterday. Oh no! You must understand. After much looking my friends there appears to be two Phase 100 scripts!!!! One has the script markings outside but the innerds look almost the same if not the same as the later 70s block logo Phase 100. But! It has a script logo! On that one you might as well buy a later 70s block much cheaper. But the holy grail one is the real 100 script!!! It has Mullard tropical fish caps and those reddish piher looking resistors like the ones in Marshalls from old. I think their at like 1/4watt or 1/8watt. So that is the grail of 100s to get! SO upon opening up the UPS box and pulling the pedal out I started to get nervous, you'll notice the guy didn't post pics of the innerds. SO I was sweating. Screwed off the back cover and looked in to my "thank the Lord" surprise! There were a school of tropical fishes and red resistors and a few cc resistors!!!!!!! I got one of the grails for $189!!!! I think I did very very well. How does it sound? Like a dream! Beautiful and thick and juicy. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

So you ask, "Why didn't you just email and ask the guy?" First, I didn't want someone else to beat me to it so I bought it now immediately upon seeing it. I then emailed him and he said he didn't remember and that he already had it boxed up and just dropped it off at the UPS place.

So I was left to sweat awhile.

Bluesgeetar,

Congrats on the purchase! I was once the proud owner of a script logo Phase 100 as well as a script logo Phase 90. I sold the 100 because I preferred the 90, but the Phase 100 is definitely one of the nicest phase shifters out there.

I'm also very near to completing my ultimate pedal collection. I currently own:

- Several silicon fuzz faces. I particularly like the Crest Audio RI fuzz faces from the 1980's. I have two of them, both have bc109c's. I also own an original late 60's FF with bc108c's. My MJM London Fuzz 2 also has bc108c's.
- A J. Everman Fuzz Drive Deluxe. No longer in production. This pedal can make your Fender amp sound like there's a fuzz face driving it. Thru the Marshall it sounds like a cross between a tube screamer and a fuzz face.
- A Prescription Electronics Vibe Unit. The sweetest, lushest univibe copy IMO. I love it!
- A Menatone Red Snapper. My all-time favorite TS-like OD pedal.
- A Legendary Tones Time Machine Boost. Yummie!
- A Chicago Iron Octavian. Great Tycobrahe clone which produces squawky yet sweet upper octaves. Cool!
- A J. Everman Ring Modulated Fuzz. No longer in production. Another take at the octave-up thing. This one has more bottom-end fuzz added to it making it sound fatter and warmer.
- An MXR script logo Phase 90. The coolest phaser on the planet. Period.

So what is missing? A Maxon AD999 analog delay, of course! But the good news is: I will have one very soon! I'll keep you posted...

A Maxon AD999 analog delay
Those Maxons look nice.

For delay I have a few choices. I have a BOSS RV-3, a 1967 Echoplex, a 1986 KORG SDD-3300, an old 80s Ibanez PDM-1, and in the box I have the UA Roland Space Echo.

Yeah gotta love FFs. I built all my fuzz faces with NOS parts. I put old Telefunken BC108Bs in my FF they all measured about 357 Hfe. They sound sweet! I use old Mullard OC81D in one of my Tonebenders and old Mullard OC76 in another both have a little different flavor. I also put old Telefunken AC128 in my FFs. I emailed Roger Mayer and asked him what kind of trannys he used in Jimmis Germanium FF and he emailed me back that he used the AC128 and not the NKT 275. So I was relieved to hear that as the 275 are a bitch to source.

I have alot of Holy grail trannys for misc old pedals.

For USA fuzz I have two original Fuzz tones. a 64 FZ1 and a 66 FZ1A. they sound way cool!

I love treble boosters too. I have my homemade Rangemaster with NOS parts and old Mullard OC44. I also do have an original 64 VOX treble booster in the lipstick style case. Way cool little guy!

Well I have to much stuff. At one time I was gonna sell much of this stuff but I was talking to this world famous guitar player and he was telling me, "Man, don't sell it. The minute you sell it you'll find a situation in the studio that calls exactly for that pedal. You may almost never use it but you can bet your ass that the minute you sell it, that's when you'll need it."
